This website hosts a year long independent research project conducted by Gareth Higgins while studying at Monash University. The body of creative work has been produced in response to the research questio, how can the design process of creating visual identities adopt an explorative model to encourage intuitive design decisions? The exegesis provides textual commentary and supporting documentation to produce a comprehensive converation to address this topic.
Further, this project provides insight in this overall composition and progression of the scope of the research. This has been acheived via documenting the creative processes, and communicating the cultural, conceptual, and theoretical contexts that have informed my practice-based design inquiry.
Gareth Higgins is a communication design student currently studying at Monash University at Melbourne, Australia. Currently working freelance and independently as both a designer junior art director.
